Heute haben wir einen sch\u00f6nen Ausflug gemacht. Aber zun\u00e4chst sind wir nur bis zur Auffahrt gekommen. Hier trainiert n\u00e4mlich die Rugby 7 Mannschaft von Fidji! Da mussten wir nat\u00fcrlich ein wenig zusehen …<\/p>\n

Today we did a nice excursion. But at first we only got as far as the driveway. Because the rugby 7 team of Fiji has its training here! Of course we had to watch for a bit …<\/p>\n

Aber dann sind wir wirklich los: Richtung Suva. Die Stadt selber haben wir nur am Rand „geschnitten“. Und zuerst mussten wir sowieso unterwegs noch wo halten … Irgendso ein Amt oder so … Da wurde wohl jemand beim zu schnell Fahren erwischt … (ein Tipp: Torben war es nicht ;-( \u00a0 ) Da musste jemand dann 25 Fidji-Dollar zahlen …<\/p>\n

But then we really got going: In the direction of Suva. The city itself we only touched marginally. And first we anyhow had to stop somewhere along the way … Some government office or so … Seems somebody was caught speeding … (a hint: it was not Torben ;-(\u00a0\u00a0 ) Somebody then had to pay 25 Fiji dollars …<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Das eigentliche Ziel war: Colo-I-Suva, ein Naturschutzgebiet. Wir haben eine kleine Wanderung durch sehr dichten Regenwald gemacht.<\/p>\n

Our real destination was: Colo-I-Suva, a nature reserve. We did a little hike through very dense rainforest.<\/p>\n

Es gibt da jede Menge Teiche, dazwischen viele Wasserf\u00e4lle, sehr sch\u00f6n!<\/p>\n

There are lots of pools, in between lots of waterfalls, very pretty!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Die Wege waren spannend, zum Teil \u00fcber Wurzeln, durch Schlamm, durchs Wasser, oder \u00fcber seltsame Metallbr\u00fccken.<\/p>\n

The paths were quite interesting, sometimes you stepped over roots, through mud, through the water or over weird metal bridges.<\/p>\n

Und nat\u00fcrlich haben wir auch hier eine Spinne entdeckt, sonst w\u00e4re der Tag ja nicht komplett gewesen …<\/p>\n

And of course we did discover a spider here as well, otherwise the day would not have been complete …<\/p>\n

Und f\u00fcr die, die Spinnen nicht so m\u00f6gen, hier ein Schmetterling. Beide Bilder sind vom selben Tier. Spannend, nicht?<\/p>\n

And for those who don’t like spiders all that much, here a butterfly. Both pictures are of the same animal. Fascinating, isn’t it?<\/p>\n

Am Schluss haben wir noch wundersch\u00f6ne Orchideen gesehen und gerochen. Ein toller Duft!<\/p>\n

At the end we also saw and smelled beautiful orchids. A wonderful fragrance!<\/p>\n

Abends, als wir schon wieder hier beim Bungalow waren, bin ich raus, um ein nach V\u00f6geln zu schauen. Entdeckt habe ich aber Flughunde:<\/p>\n

In the evening, when we were back at here at the bungalow already, I went outside to look for birds. But what I discovered were flying foxes:<\/p>\n
