Schon an unserem ersten Tag in Schweden, als wir nach Norwegen gefahren sind, wurden wir daran erinnert, warum wir \u00fcberhaupt hier sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On our first day in Sweden already, when we drove up to Norway, we were reminded of the reason why we are here in the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am 27. Juni, als wir in G\u00f6teborg unser Auto geparkt hatten, h\u00f6rten wir eine Dame seine Lieder singen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 27 June when we parked our car in Gothenburg, we heard a lady sing his songs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und \u00fcberall in der Stadt konnte man auf diverse Fan-Shirts treffen …<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And all over town you could stumble across all kinds of fan shirts \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Hard Rock Cafe ist er uns nat\u00fcrlich auch begegnet:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Hard Rock Cafe of course we also saw him:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und heute war es endlich soweit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And today finally the time had come!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hier im Ullevi Stadion hat er \u2013 unter anderem – auch 1985 schon mal gespielt und h\u00e4lt den Zuschauerrekord von 64.312 Leuten. (2005 wurde bei einem Umbau das Maximum auf 59.000 reduziert) \u2013 \u00dcbrigens: damals ist das Stadion fast zusammengebrochen, wegen der rhythmischen Bewegungen von Zehntausenden Leuten, und wegen des Lehmbodens, auf dem das Stadion gebaut ist. Die Ersch\u00fctterungen waren seinerzeit noch in 400m entfernten Wohngeb\u00e4uden zu sp\u00fcren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here in the Ullevi stadium he already gave many concerts, also in 1985, and holds the audience record of 64.312 people. (2005 after a modification the maximum was reduced to 59.000) \u2013 By the way: back then the stadium nearly collapsed due to the rhythmic movement of tens of thousands of people and the clay soil on which the stadium is built. The tremors could back then be felt in residences up to 400m away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Um acht beginnt das Konzert, um vier haben wir uns angestellt \u2013 also noch viel Zeit zum Schild malen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At eight the concert will start, at four we got in line \u2013 so still lots of time to finish a sign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kurz nach f\u00fcnf waren wir drin und haben es uns gem\u00fctlich gemacht: Popcorn, Wasser, was zum Lesen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortly after five we were in the stadium and settled in: popcorn, water, something to read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und kurz nach acht ging es endlich los! Wir waren vielleicht 6m von der B\u00fchne entfernt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And shortly after eight it finally started! We were maybe 6m away from the stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nat\u00fcrlich waren keine Kameras erlaubt, also sind alle Konzertfotos vom Handy … aber man kann Bruce immerhin erkennen 😊<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, no cameras were allowed, so all pictures of the concert were taken with the phone \u2026 but at least you can recognize Bruce 😊<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Stadion war ausverkauft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stadium was sold out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mein erster Wunsch \u201eAmerican Skin\u201c kam leider nicht dran ☹<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first wish \u201cAmerican Skin\u201d unfortunately was not played ☹<\/p>\n\n\n\n

23:15 war es vorbei. Ein tolles Konzert!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11:15 p.m. it was over. A great concert!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auch wenn die anderen beiden Wunsch-Lieder auch nicht dabei waren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even if the other two songs we wished for also did not come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
