So, heute waren wir im Kohle Museum und haben eine Menge gelernt. Und danach haben wir uns den japanischen Garten angesehen. Jetzt wissen wir auch, warum der da ist.
Okay, today we went to the coal museum and learned a lot. And afterwards we looked at the Japanese garden. Now we do know why it is here.
Dann haben wir die Mittagshitze in unserem Zimmer verschlafen und sind um eins wieder los. – Da hat das Auto immerhin eine Außentemperatur von 40° angezeigt. Wir sind zum Blackdown Tableland National Park. Tolle Ausblicke gabs da vom Plateau! (an den Farben hab ich nur ein klitzekleines bisschen rumgespielt)
Then we slept through the midday heat in our room and left again at one. – At that point the car showed an external temperature of 40°. We drove to the Blackdown Tableland National Park. Great views we had from the plateau! (and I only doctored the colours a teensy tiny bit)
Wir haben eine kurze Wanderung zu einem netten kleinen Wasserfall gemacht. Zweimal haben wir Leute getroffen, aber die meiste Zeit hatten wir den Weg für uns.
We did a short hike to a nice little waterfall. Twice we met people on the way, but most of the time we had it all to ourselves.
Unterwegs haben wir wie immer eine Menge gesehen. Kookaburras, Eidechsen, Käfer …
