Übrigens: Die Wombats durften wir lange halten, die sind tatsächlich in unseren Armen eingeschlafen!!!

So, nach dem letzten Eintrag haben wir geduscht und etwas gegessen, dann gings wieder los. Zum Blue Lake – der heißt nicht umsonst so. Da haben wir auch tatsächlich Glück gehabt und zwei Schnabeltiere gesehen!!! (da die erst rauskommen, wenn es anfängt, dunkel zu werden, können wir leider kein supertolles Foto liefern ..)
Okay, after the last entry we had a shower and ate a bite, then we left again. For the Blue Lake – it does not have that name for nothing. And there we really got lucky and saw two platypusses!!! (since they don’t come out before it starts to get dark, we unfortunately cannot present a fantastic photo …)
Auf der Heimfahrt sind wir dann hier im Ort die Straßen entlang gefahren. Heute abend war nämlich der Weihnachtsbus unterwegs, mit der Jury, die entscheidet, wer das am besten geschmückte Haus hat. Daher wurde heute tagsüber noch viel gebastelt, und jetzt nachts gab es die große Show.
On the way back we drove along the streets here in town. Because this evening the Christmas bus was traveling the streets, with the jury that decides which is the best decorated house. For that reason during the day there was much handicraft going on, and now at night the big show was on.
Was für ein Tag!!! Gut, dass wir nach Oberon sind …
