Last day … and we make space in the suitcases.
Um kurz nach 10 Uhr sind wir los – da war es schon 32°C heiß. (Eine Stunde später 36°C!)
We left shortly after ten o’clock – when it was 32°C already. (An hour later 36°C!)
Wir sind von Perth aus ein Stück nach Norden gefahren, an einen Strand voller Surfer.
We drove up north a bit from Perth, to a beach full of surfers.

Wenn man den Strand entlang läuft, stößt man immer wieder auf große Felsen. Mal einen, mal zwei …

Ein Stück weiter ist die Luft gut, und es gibt eine Menge Skulpturen:

Der große Neptun verrät es uns: Hier war mal ein Vergnügungspark.

Noch ein Stück weiter nördlich, in Lancelin, haben wir etwas gegessen.

Dann ging es weiter. Wir haben unterwegs ein Schild gesehen, das wir bisher nirgends hatten:

Doch da, wo wir jetzt hinwollen, gibt es nur eine Einbahnstraße … und die wird manchmal von fotografierenden Leuten blockiert.
But where we want to go now, there is just a one-way street … and that gets blocked sometimes by people taking pictures.
Kein Wunder, diese Spitzen, die „Pinnacles“ sind wirklich sehenswert.
No wonder, these spikes, the “Pinnacles” are really worth seeing.
Die unterschiedlichsten Figuren kann man erkennen, so wie diesen Hasen.
You can discover all kinds of figures, like this rabbit.
Und das Gebiet ist riesig, eine Unmenge von „Pinnacles“.
And the area is huge, there is an endless number of “Pinnacles”.
Tolle Farben gibt es auch!
There are also great colours!
Oh, von wegen Farben … das war der Blick später von unserem Zimmer für die Nacht.
