And another wonderfully sunny, very warm day – the high temperature was 27°C!
Ein zweiter schneller Blick zum Palast Ennejma Ezzahra. Gestern gab es dort eine Veranstaltung, also standen vor dem Gebäude lauter Autos und Leute, und innen konnte man nicht alle Räume besichtigen …
A quick second look at the Ennejma Ezzahra Palace. An event had taken place here yesterday, so there had been lots of cars and people in front of the building, and you couldn’t visit all the rooms inside…
Den weißen Saal hatten wir gestern nicht gesehen.
We didn’t see the White Chamber yesterday.
Und die Bibliothek.
And the library.
Ach ja, auch beim zweiten Besuch: Alles ist so wunderschön, man kann sich nicht sattsehen.
Oh yes, also on the second visit: Everything is so beautiful, you can’t get enough of it.
Und bei den Musikinstrumenten habe ich heute die „Medweds“ entdeckt, so eine Art Dudelsack.
And among the musical instruments, I discovered the „medweds“ today, a kind of bagpipe.
Okay, einmal kurz dehnen, dann geht es weiter.
Okay, a quick stretch, then we travel on.
Wir hatten gestern nämlich das Museum Dar El-Annabi gesucht aber nicht gefunden (in Google Maps ist die Adresse falsch!), aber heute bin ich fast ohne Suchen drauf gestoßen, also haben wir uns dieses Haus wohlhabender Leute angesehen:
Because yesterday we had been looking for the Dar El-Annabi Museum but couldn’t find it (the address is wrong in Google Maps!), but today I stumbled upon it almost without looking, so we visited this house of wealthy people:
Mit Wachsfiguren wird veranschaulicht, wie die Leute hier lebten.
Wax figures illustrate how people lived here.
Im wunderschönen Innenhof wurde uns Pfefferminztee kredenzt.
We were served peppermint tea in the beautiful courtyard.
Und ist der Kaktus nicht toll, der da durch die Abdeckung wachsen darf?
And isn’t that cactus amazing, allowed to grow right through the cover?
Im oberen Stockwerk darf man Gebetsräume besichtigen.
Upstairs, you are allowed to visit the prayer rooms.
Auch die Küche und ein toll gefliestes Bad.
Also the kitchen and a beautifully tiled bathroom.
Und dann durften wir auch noch auf das Dach.
And then we even got to go up on the roof.
Genau richtig zum Sonnenuntergang.
Just in time for sunset.
Ach so … auf dem Nachhauseweg gab es natürlich wieder die leckeren Bambalounis!
Oh, and… on the way home, we had those delicious bambalounis again, of course!
