Da heute morgen wieder wunderbares Wetter war, sind wir hierhin: (wir waren sogar viel zu früh dort, da war noch alles zu … aber wir haben einen anderen interessanten Ort gefunden … dazu später mehr)
Since this morning the weather was once again splendid, we went here: (we were even much too early, everything was still closed … but we did stumble across another interesting place … more about that later)
Nicht Schlittenfahren sondern Reifenrutschen … 😉
Not sleigh riding but rather tube sliding … 😉
Es gab drei langsamere Bahnen und drei schnellere … Uns haben sie alle viel Spaß gemacht.
There were three slower lanes and three faster ones … We enjoyed all of them immensely.
Hier ein Blick auf die Anlage. Links und rechts davon fahren die Skifahrer und Snowboarder vorbei.

Wir haben unsere „tubes“ gekriegt und sind los:
We got our „tubes“ and got going:
Erst ein Stück den Reifen Gassi führen, dann ab auf das Fließband:
First we went for a bit of a walk with the tubes, then onto the conveyor belt:
Oben am Hügel geht man dann zur gewünschten Bahn ..
Up on the hill you then walk to the lane you want …
… und bereitet sich auf die Abfahrt vor.
… and get ready for the descent.
Jetzt steigt die Vorfreue. Hier seht Ihr die Bahnen noch einmal:

Diese Senke in der Mitte hat eine Menge Spaß gemacht.
This middle dip was a whole lot of fun.

Und unten wird man dann von den ausgelegten Bahnen gestoppt.
And down the hill you then get stopped by the sacking laid out.
Die Jungs oben am Hügel haben uns auch hier und da mit einem guten Dreh losgeschickt …
The guys up on the hill sometimes gave us quite a good spin going down …
Wie ich unten war, war mir schwindelig …
As I got down, I was quite dizzy …
Und damit Euch nicht schwindlig wird beim Starren auf die kleine Kirsche da oben … Hier nochmal einfacher:
And so that you don’t get dizzy with staring at the little Kirsche up there … Here once again nice and easy:
Super war das! Zwei Stunden sind wir den Hügel hoch und runter. Ob das mit dem Pisten-Bully mehr Spaß gemacht hätte?
It was great! For two hours we went up and down the hill. Whether that might have been more fun with the Pisten-Bully?
Naja … könnte schon lustig sein …
Well … might not be too bad …

So, wie erwähnt hatten wir ja morgens noch etwas entdeckt …
Okay, as mentioned, in the morning we discovered something else …
Oh, nein, nicht das … Das hier: das Sliding Centre, die Bob-Bahn.
Oh, no, not that … This here: the Sliding Centre, the bob run.
Morgens waren wir zum Besucherzentrum gegangen, dort hat man uns den Trainings-Plan gezeigt:
In the morning we had gone to the visitor centre, and there they had shown us the training schedule:
Ein chinesisches Bob-Team war mittags auf der Bahn.
A Chinese bobsleigh team was on the run around lunch time.
Auf der weltweit schnellsten Bahn!
On the fastest run in the world!
Weil es so sonnig war, war der Großteil der Bahn abgedeckt:
Since it was so sunny, a large part of the track was covered:
Aber hier und da konnte man reinschauen:
But here and there you could look in:
Und es gab auch offene Stellen:
And there were open sections too:
Und dann kamen die Sportler angerast … Waren die schnell!!!
And then the athletes came racing … Were they fast!!!
Aufregend! Was aber auch interessant war: wie die Bahn immer wieder bearbeitet wurde, mit Schaufel, Wasser, Schnee:
Exciting! But what was also interesting: how the track time and again got worked on, with shovel, water, snow:
Auf dem Rückweg haben wir aber noch etwas gelernt: Wir sind nicht up to date, wir müssen uns so etwas besorgen, ganz dringend:
But on the way back we learned one more thing: We are not up to date, we have to get one of these, urgently:
Eine Schneeballfertigungsanlage … 😉 oder so …
A snowball construction entity … 😉 or something like that …
