Heute hatten wir nichts geplant … erstmal durften wir ausschlafen! Und danach haben wir uns in Campbell River orientiert. So sieht es direkt vor dem Hotel aus:

Wir sind zum Hafen gefahren um zu sehen, wo wir morgen früh hin müssen. Das Whale Watching mit Eagle Eye Adventures wurde ja nichts, aber wir haben noch einen anderen Ausflug gebucht …
First we drove to the harbour, to see where we will have to go tomorrow morning. The whale watching with Eagle Eye Adventures did not work out, but we have booked a different excursion with them …
Ansonsten sind wir einfach ein bisschen herumgelaufen. Überall ist uns die Kunst der Ureinwohner begegnet. Ob auf den Wegen …
Other than that we simple walked around a bit. All over we noticed indigenous art. Be that on the pathways …
… oder über der Straße …
… or above the street …
… oder einfach an der Wand des Supermarkts.
… or simply on the wall of the supermarket.
Da haben wir uns gleich mit Lebensmitteln eingedeckt und sind dann wieder Richtung Hotel. Da haben wir die Küste ein bisschen erforscht. Als erstes haben wir unseren Breitengrad gelernt:

Was haben wir für ein Glück mit dem Wetter. Eigentlich hieß es, es würde sehr regnerisch.
How lucky we are with the weather. It was supposed to be quite rainy.
Bei diesem klaren Wetter kann man den Flugverkehr besonders gut beobachten.
With these clear skies one can observe the air traffic so wonderfully well.
Aber wir fliegen jetzt wieder ins Hotelzimmer, essen und schlafen!
