So, nachdem letztes Jahr ja das Bruce Springsteen Konzert abgesagt werden musste, ist es heute endlich so weit!
Okay, last year the Bruce Springsteen concert had to be canceled, but today finally it will take place!
Einlass ab 15:00 Uhr, also waren wir um 14:45 da.

Wir waren vielleicht 10m von der Bühne? Und das Konzert ging überpünktlich los, um 18:38!

Auch auf den riesigen Leinwänden konnte man gut sehen, wenn die Leute vor uns die Sicht versperrten.
You could also see very well looking at the huge screens, in case the people in front of us blocked the view.

Bruce hat sich auch auf diesem Konzert klar gegen Trump positioniert.

Fotos machen war schwierig, Kameras verboten, mit dem Handy nicht so toll, außerdem dauernd Arme im Weg … und Nils Lofgren hab ich fast nie erwischt.
Taking photos was difficult, cameras forbidden, with the cell phone it does not work so well, and on top of that constantly arms in the way … and Nils Lofgren I hardly ever got a shot at.

Letztes Jahr schon hatten wir uns diese Ausstellung ansehen wollen, „unter“ der Kirche St. Cyrill und Method.
Last year already we had meant to see this exhibition, “below” the church St. Cyril and Methodius.
Doch da waren zuviele Leute und wir wurden nicht eingelassen. Heute waren wir früh da, und es hat geklappt.
But back then there had been too many people and we were not let in. Today we came very early, and it worked out.
Wie man weiß, wurde die Tschechoslowakei ohne ihre Beteiligung 1938 an das Deutsche Reich verschenkt. Als Reaktion auf die Widerstandsbewegung im Lande ernannte Hitler 1941 Reinhard Heydrich zum stellvertretenden Reichsprotektor in Böhmen und Mähren. Reinhard handelte ruchlos und brutal, und war daher das logische Ziel eines Attentats, das von der Exilregierung in London geplant wurde, um auch auf internationaler Ebene Gehör zu finden.
As is well known, Czechoslovakia was handed over to the German Reich in 1938 without its involvement. In response to the resistance movement in the country, Hitler appointed Reinhard Heydrich as Deputy Reich Protector of Bohemia and Moravia in 1941. Reinhard acted ruthlessly and brutally, and was therefore the logical target of an assassination attempt planned by the government-in-exile in London to gain international attention.
Die Attentäter hatten viele Unterstützer und wurden nach der Tat unter der Kirche, wo die Grabkammern sind, versteckt.
The assassins had many supporters and were hidden after the attack under the church, where the burial chambers are located.
Die Treppe war oben in der Kirche unter einer Grabplatte versteckt (ganz links im Bild teilweise zu sehen). – Die Rache der Deutschen an den Beteiligten aber auch an der Bevölkerung von zwei ganzen Dörfern war furchtbar.
Up in the church, the stairs were hidden under a gravestone (partially visible on the far left of the picture). – The Germans‘ revenge on those involved, as well as on the population of two entire villages, was terrible.
Eine sehr gut gemachte Ausstellung! – Aber wir haben uns jetzt etwas leichtere Kost angesehen. Über den Herrn mit Schirm ist viel zu finden im Netz:

An einem Auto haben 4 Leute 7.000 Stunden gearbeitet!

Was für ein voller Tag – genug für heute, wir sind kaputt!
Heute sind wir früh morgens zum Bahnhof, haben im Zug nach Hamburg dann immer wieder auf dem Handy gecheckt: Kriegen wir den Anschluss? Ursprünglich 8 Minuten zum Umsteigen, zuletzt laut DB dann nur noch zwei. Also sind wir in Hamburg als erste aus dem Zug gesprungen, dann von Gleis 13 zu Gleis 5 gerannt: Und der Zug nach Prag war noch gar nicht da!
Today we went to the station bright and early, then in the train to Hamburg kept checking on the cell phone: Will we get our connecting train? Originally we had 8 minutes to change trains, at then end – according to DB – only two. So in Hamburg we were the first to jump out of the train, then sprinted from platform 13 to platform 5: And the train to Prague was not even there yet!
Aber halt mal, denkt sich mancher. Was wollen die denn schon wieder in Prag?
But stop, some of you might think. Why are they traveling to Prague again already?
Eben, das Springsteen-Konzert letztes Jahr wurde ja abgesagt. Und Sonntag ist der Ersatztermin. Wir sind in dieselbe Unterkunft wie letztes Mal, nur haben wir ein anderes Apartment im Three Golden Crowns.
Exactly, the Springsteen concert last year had been canceled. And this Sunday will be the second try. We went to the same lodging as last time, but we have a different apartment at the Three Golden Crowns.
Kurze Pause, dann sind wir losgerollt.

Immer eine Lampe für zwei Personen, und dann ging die Tour los.

Unser Guide Tomás hatte eine stärkere Taschenlampe – so konnte er uns Details zeigen.

1,5 Stunden waren wir in der Höhle und haben jede Sekunde genossen. Wir haben zum Beispiel gelernt, dass Stalaktiten auch als Musikinstrument fungieren können!
1.5 hours we were in the cave, and we enjoyed every second of it. We learned about stalactites as a musical instrument for example!
Wieder draußen hat ein Guide uns die Linaria gezeigt, eine endemische Pflanze.

Wir sind dann noch kurz zur Cueva del Gato.

Danach sind wir wie gestern zum Restaurant Tangier. Und wie gestern war es sehr lecker, und wie gestern haben wir Geschenke gekriegt. Die Chefin hat gerade marokkanisches Brot gebacken, das durften wir gleich probieren. Lecker!
Afterwards we went to the restaurant Tangier, like yesterday. And like yesterday it was delicious and like yesterday we got presents. The chef was just baking Moroccan bread, which we got to try right away. Delicious!
